Max’s The Gear Ingredients

Active Ingredients

Tribuls Terrestris

Tribulus Terrestris is a plant that has been used for centuries to increase men’s sex drive. It is claimed to be able to enhance testosterone levels in the body, but there is no scientific proof to back this up (1, 2).

The recommended dose to enhance libido is 2-6g.

Bulbine Natalensis Powder

This is an African herb that is claimed to increase circulating testosterone, while simultaneously decreasing estrogen levels.

It has been seen to increase testosterone levels in studies with rats.

Mucuna Pruriens Powder

Mucuna Pruriens is a natural form of L-Dopa, which regulates muscle androgen receptors. It is also claimed to boost testosterone levels.

It has been seen to increase both testosterone and dopamine in infertile men.

However, it is unclear whether these benefits translate to healthy men (3).

The recommended dosage of mucuna pruriens is 5g.

DIM (Diindolylmethane)

DIM is found in such cruciferous vegetables as cauliflower and broccoli.

It is used to prevent testosterone converting to estrogen.

Who Takes It?

The Gear is taken by hard training bodybuilders who are interesting in enhancing their levels of lean body mass.

How to Take

A serving of Max’s The Gear consists of 3 capsules. Take one serving with water with breakfast and another serving 90 minutes before your workout.

Side Effects

Bulbine Natalensis is believed to cause steroid like organ damage (4).

Pros

  • Increases testosterone
  • All natural ingredients

Cons

  • Side effects of Bulbine Natalensis

Conclusion

Max’s The Gear is a testosterone booster that contains the usual suspect ingredient list. Most of them do not have scientific backing.

The side effects of bulbine natalensis is also a concern.
