E.S.P Pre-Workout Review

October 15, 2016 By Editor

E.S.P Pre-Workout is designed to improve levels of energy, endurance and mental focus while working out.

It’s manufactured by Metabolic Nutrition, which has built a reputation on the back of their fat burning product, Synadrex.

This is their first pre-workout supplement.

Active Ingredients

Beta-Alanine

Beta Alanine provides more energy and endurance.

It does this by buffering the acid that comes from lactic acid (1).

As a result, the burning feeling that you get while training is delayed and you can get more reps in.

Caffeine

Caffeine is a powerful stimulant that will rev up your metabolism (2) and improve your mental alertness (3).

E.S.P contains a massive 500 mg per scoop of caffeine.

That gives it the highest caffeine content of any pre-workout we have ever come across.

Theobromine

Theobromine is a stimulant with similar effects to caffeine.

It’s a common chocolate ingredient, producing the euphoric feeling that you get when eating it (4).

N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine

N-Acteyl L-Tyrosine is claimed to enhance mood and alertness.

However, there have been no studies to verify these claims.

Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that is involved in the formation of the neurotransmitter dopamine.

Who Takes It?

E.S.P Pre-Workout is designed for people who are training to improve their strength, build muscle, improve their sports conditioning and enhance their general level of fitness.

How to Take It

You should take one scoop of E.S.P Pre-Workout, mixed with a glass of water, 15-30 minutes before your workout.

Note that E.S.P comes with a double sized scoop. Those with a good tolerance to stimulants should take a full scoop dose.

However, those who are new to stimulants or are known to react to them, should take the smaller scoop size.

Side Effects

E.S.P contains a heavy dose of caffeine in each scoop.

This may cause a tingling sensation, hyperactivity and lead to a crash after the potency wears off.

That is why you should assess your level of tolerance and adjust the dosage accordingly.

The stimulatory side effects of caffeine do not cause any long term harm.

Pros:

  • Very potent pre-workout
  • Improved drive and mental focus
  • Allows you to train harder, longer.

Cons:

  • Very high stimulant content may cause side effects
  • Proprietary blend that doesn’t reveal dosages.

Conclusion

E.S.P Pre-Workout is a potent, powerful pre-workout supplement that delivers plenty of training energy and focus.

It comes in four delicious flavors, mixes well and has a good price point.

Unfortunately E.S.P may be too stimulant heavy for some people, but hardcore trainers will relish the rush it provides.
