Cellucor COR-Performance Creatine V2 is a weight training supplement used to increase strength, power and muscular endurance.

The key difference between this product and the original Cellucor Creatine is that the creatine in V2 is micronized.

Cellucor COR-Performance Creatine is manufactured and marketed by Woodbolt Distribution, LLC, who market a whole range of bodybuilding products under the Cellucor brand.

Active Ingredients

Creatine Monohydrate

Creatine is a compound which has the ability to renew ATP activity within a working muscle cell, enabling the muscle to contract more forcefully and keep going for longer. (1, 2).

Cellucor V2 uses micronized creatine which is much finer than standard creatine, allowing it to be absorbed more quickly.

Creatine has an effective dose of 3-5 g per day.

This product contains 5 grams of creatine monohydrate per serving.

Betaine Anhydrous

Betaine Anhydrous is the active metabolite of choline.

It work alongside creatine to increase power output and decrease muscular soreness (3, 4).

It is claimed that betaine anhydrous will also boost the effect of creatine, but this has been disproven (5).

Cinnulin PF

Cinnulin PF is cinnamon bark extract. It transports blood sugar into your muscle cells.

It also helps to deliver creatine to the cell (6).

Who Takes It?

Cellucor COR-Performance Creatine is taken by people who are training intensely with weights in order to build muscle mass and increase their strength/power output.

How to Take It

Take one scoop of COR-Performance Creatine, mixed in a 250 ml glass of water, 30 minutes before working out. On non training days, take it in the morning.

Cellucor recommend beginning with a loading phase over five days, in which you take four servings per day. This will build up the creatine level in your body to get the maximum benefit.

Side Effects

During the loading phase, some people may experience bloating and stomach discomfort. This will continue beyond the loading phase for a minority of users.

If you exceed the recommended dose, you may get nausea and diarrhea.

Pros:

  • Betaine Anhydrous added to boost power output
  • Uses CreaPure creatine
  • Creasorb phosphate delivery system

Cons:

  • Loading period required
  • Expensive

Conclusion

Cellucor COR-Performance Creatine V2 delivers pure creatine that has been enhanced with betaine and cinullin PF to deliver a more potent muscle power surge to your training.

It features the patented Creasorb phosphate delivery system to get the nutrients to your cells quicker, making it one of the most effective creatine blends we have come cross.
