Ryse Up BCAA + EAA Review

April 9, 2018 By Editor

Ryse Up BCAA + EAA Review

Ryse Up BCAA + EAA is an amino-acid supplement made by Ryse.

It’s designed to reduce muscle breakdown and improve hydration during workouts.

Ryse is a supplement company based in Texas, USA.

Ingredients Label

Active Ingredients

Essential Amino Acids

Essential amino acids (EAAs) are amino acids that the body cannot make on its own.

These need to be consumed through high-protein foods, or supplements.

The free-form nature of supplemental EAAs allow them to be quickly-absorbed, and are not accompanied by extra calories.

They can be taken as a low-calorie protein-replacement, or around workout time to reduce muscle breakdown and improve recovery (1).

BCAAs

BCAAs, or branched chain amino acids, are a smaller group within the essential amino acids.

These are the ones that are specific to muscle growth and repair (2).

Coconut Water Powder

Coconut water is an excellent natural source of electrolytes.

When consumed around the time of exercising, it can improve performance and rehydration (3, 4).

Who Takes It?

Athletes wanting to improve performance and recovery, as well as reduce muscle breakdown will enjoy using Ryse Up BCAA + EAA.

How to Take

Mix 1 scoop (10.2g) with 250-500mL water, and sip during your workout.

Side Effects

There are no significant side effects associated with the ingredients in this formula.

Pros

  • Coconut water powder may add extra performance and recovery effects
  • Good dose of BCAAs in each scoop.

Cons

  • Having BCAA and EAA in the title is a little confusing.

Conclusion

Ryse Up BCAA + EAA looks like your typical essential amino acid supplement, but incorporates a slight edge from coconut water powder for rehydration and performance.

It should be a solid formula for reducing muscle breakdown during workouts, as well as shortening recovery time.

Calling it “BCAA + EAA” is somewhat confusing, as the formula appears to not have any more BCAAs than most other EAA supplements.
