Blue-Up Review

Blue-Up Review 2

Blue-Up is a testosterone booster supplement made by Controlled Labs.

It’s designed to support healthy testosterone levels, for better strength and size development.

Controlled Labs is an American supplement company, based in New York.

Ingredients Label

Active Ingredients

Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus terrestris is a plant which may increase libido, but has not actually been shown to increase testosterone levels in healthy subjects (1).

In infertile men, however, it may have a positive effect (2).

An effective dose for enhancing libido is about 200-450mg of a 60% extract, daily.

Avena Sativa Extract

Avena Sativa is the scientific name for the common oat plant.

It is claimed to boost libido and free testosterone by reducing SHBG, however no public research is currently available on this effect.

Eurycoma Longifolia

Eurycoma Longifolia, also known as Longjack, is a plant with aphrodisiac effects.

It’s been shown to increase testosterone in men who are stressed or have abnormally low testosterone, but it may not have effects in healthy males (3).

An effective dose is about 200-300mg of a 100:1 extract.

Who Takes It?

Athletes who are older males or have abnormally low testosterone levels will benefit most from using Blue-Up.

How to Take

Take 2 capsules 30-45 minutes prior to your workout.

Side Effects

May increase libido, and/or effect general mood.

Pros

  • May increase testosterone in those with abnormally low levels
  • Concentrated extracts
  • Easy-to-take capsule form.

Cons

  • May not have any effects on those with healthy testosterone levels
  • Ingredient doses hidden in a proprietary blend.

Conclusion

Blue-Up is a simple testosterone booster formula, however research on the ingredients shows that they are only effective on those with low testosterone.

The oat plant extract is an interesting ingredient, which has no research on it so far.

The formula would make it great for supporting testosterone levels, but probably won’t have any effects on the average healthy person.
