Active Ingredients

Whey Protein Blend

Max’s Super Whey Protein Powder is a blend of whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate and hydrolysed peptides.

Hydrolysed whey peptides have been enzymatically broken down into tiny peptides for immediate absorption.

Whey protein isolate uses a cross-flow micro filtration process to purify the protein, removing lactose and fat.

On the other hand, whey concentrate retains the lactose in the protein, which results in slower digestion.

Whey protein is the most bioavailable muscle building protein in existence (1).

Glutamine

Glutamine is an amino acid which promotes muscle growth by driving nitrogen into the muscle cell (2).

Who Takes it?

Max’s Super Whey Protein Powder is taken by weight trainers who are wanting to increase lean muscle muscle and speed up post workout recovery.

How to Take it

Combine a 50-gram scoop with 300 mls of milk or water and blend. Take half an hour before and immediately after working out.

Side Effects

Because it contains whey concentrate, this product contains lactose. People who are lactose intolerant may experience stomach discomfort.

Pros

  • 3-way protein blend
  • Mixes well
  • Great taste

Cons

  • Only comes in two flavours
  • Expensive
  • A bit too frothy
  • No digestive enzymes

Conclusion

Max’s Super Whey Protein Powder provides you with a mix of fast and medium delivery protein to keep you anabolic all day long.

However, this product does not contain added digestive enzymes.

It is also an expensive protein powder, so there are better options out there.
