Fury X Review 2

Fury X is a pre-workout supplement made by Core Nutritionals.

It’s designed to improve energy, pumps, and performance for enhanced workout quality.

Core Nutritionals is an American supplement company, which was founded in 2005.

Ingredients Label

Active Ingredients

Citrulline and Betaine Nitrate

Both citrulline and betaine nitrate are nitric oxide boosters.

Increasing levels of nitric oxide in the body can have a dilating effect on the blood vessels, which can improve blood flow and endurance (1).

This effect also enhances the “pump” effect from lifting weights.

Betaine nitrate may also have benefits for power output and body composition (2).

Creatine Monohydrate

Creatine is an extremely well-studied compound, which occurs naturally in meat and other animal food products.

It’s been shown to improve energy production in the cells, resulting in improvements to power output and endurance (3).

Glycerol

Glycerol is a “plasma expander” which has been shown to pull more water into the blood.

This may result in improved vascularity and pumps (4).

Tyrosine

Tyrosine is an amino acid with anti-stress benefits.

It’s been shown by research to improve performance under stress or fatigue, particularly mental performance (5).

An effective dose is 500-2,000mg.

Choline Bitartrate

Choline is a brain-boosting compound, which has been linked to better cognition (6).

The bitartrate form may not be very effective, however.

Caffeine

Caffeine is a well-known stimulant which boosts energy and alertness.

It may also improve athletic performance, when taken at higher doses (7).

Dynamine™ and Teacrine™

Dynamine™ and Teacrine™ are both trademarked forms of compounds which are similar to caffeine.

They may have positive effects on energy and mood, and work slightly differently to caffeine in terms of absorption time and tolerance.

Who Takes It?

Athletes wanting an overall boost to energy, performance, and pumps during workouts may benefit from using Fury X.

How to Take

Mix 2 scoops (25.25g) with 250-350mL water, and consume 30 minutes before working out.

Side Effects

The stimulants in this formula may trigger rapid or irregular heartbeat in stimulant-sensitive users.

Creatine may cause a temporary increase in water weight.

May upset the stomach if taken with insufficient food or water.

Pros

  • Clinically-effective doses of all ingredients
  • Improves pumps in multiple ways
  • Perfect for stimulant-lovers.

Cons

  • Stimulant content in a 2-scoop dose may be too much for some people
  • Expensive
  • Only 20 full serves per tub.

Conclusion

Fury X is an excellent pre-workout formula which has provided every single one of the ingredients in the full, clinically-effective doses.

It contains multiple ingredients that cater to energy, performance and pumps, giving it the potential to significantly enhance your workout quality across the board.

You can expect excellent results with this supplement however it may not be affordable for everyone, especially with only 20 servings per tub.
