Xenevar Review

November 9, 2017 By Editor

Xenevar Review

Xenevar is a fat-burner made by Victory Labs.

It’s designed to improve fat-loss and cut water weight while dieting.

Victory Labs is an American supplement brand, which have a small range of products dedicated to bodybuilding.

Ingredients Label

Active Ingredients

L-Carnitine

Carnitine is an amino acid that’s involved in fat metabolism.

In those who are deficient in carnitine, it can be very effective for burning fat.

The tartrate form used here has also been shown to increase power output (1).

An effective dose is 1-4g.

Raspberry Ketone

Raspberry ketone is a compound that’s been examined for its anti-obesity effects (2).

So far the majority of studies have been done in mice, so further human trials are needed.

Caffeine

Caffeine is a stimulant that is well-known for its ability to increase alertness and energy levels.

It can play a further role in fat-loss, however, through its ability to raise metabolic rate (3).

The effective dose for fat-burning is around 200mg.

Fulvic Acid

Fulvic acid is a naturally-occurring compound found in the earth.

It has strong anti-oxidant properties, which can counter harmful free-radicals.

It’s also been shown to have pro-cognitive effects, and may increase the uptake of other ingredients (4).

Mangosteen

Mangosteen is a fruit-bearing tree found in tropical areas.

Its fruit holds potentially anti-oestrogenic compounds, but these require more study in human subjects (5).

Juniper Berry

Juniper berries contain compounds that have diuretic effects in humans.

It tends to increase water and sodium excretion, which can result in a leaner look (6).

Who Takes It?

Athletes wanting a supplement which will improve fat-loss and reduce water retention while dieting may enjoy using Xenevar.

How to Take

Mix 2 scoops (4.8g) with 900mL water, and take prior to breakfast or exercise in the morning.

You may consume an additional scoop in 450mL of water 30 minutes before lunch, if desired.

Do not exceed 3 scoops in any 24 hour period.

Side Effects

Juniper berry can increase water excretion, and may have a negative impact on hydration levels.

Mangosteen and raspberry ketone are less-studied compounds and may have some unknown side effects.

Pros

  • New and exciting ingredients for fat-loss
  • Has benefits outside of just fat-burning.

Cons

  • Proprietary blend
  • The ingredients are not yet proven for effectiveness
  • Some effects like water-loss are only temporary.

Conclusion

Xenevar is an interesting fat-burner which uses a combination of relatively new ingredients.

It contains a huge dose of caffeine to raise metabolic rate, as well as a bunch of other compounds that boost fat oxidation, focus, and more.

The diuretic compounds in this formula may “appear” to work for fat-loss, but this will likely be only a temporary water-loss effect.

Unfortunately the ingredient doses are hidden in a proprietary blend, so we’re not sure what the doses are.
