Lean Out Review

October 15, 2018 By Editor

Lean Out Review

Lean Out is a fat-burner supplement made by Beverly International.

It’s designed to improve fat-burning and efficiently process carbohydrates.

Beverly International is an American supplement company which has been around since 1967.

Ingredients Label

Active Ingredients

Chromium

Chromium is an essential mineral which regulates blood sugar levels and reduces appetite (1, 2).

The effective dose is 500-1,000 micrograms.

Choline Bitartrate, Inositol and Methionine

These three compounds are classed as “lipotropics”.

Lipotropics are compounds which play a role in the breakdown of fat in the body.

They promote the liver’s ability to process fats and bile, and improve insulin sensitivity (3, 4).

L-Carnitine

L-carnitine is a compound which helps cells to burn fat for energy.

It can boost fat-loss in the elderly, but it might not have strong effects in healthy subjects. However, it has been shown to boost energy and insulin sensitivity (5).

A standard dose is 500-2,000mg.

Betaine HCl

Although betaine is a common ingredient for athletic performance, this HCl form is designed to improve stomach acidity (6).

Low stomach acid can result in poor digestive function and poor immunity.

Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is a compound that helps produce cellular energy.

Coenzyme Q10 deficiency is common in people who have a variety of diseases such as fibromyalgia, or are on medications such as statins.

It can improve a range of important health factors, and lessen the symptoms of the diseases above.

Who Takes It?

Those who want to improve their ability to burn fat and improve body composition may enjoy using Lean Out.

How to Take

Take 4 capsules daily, ideally one or more with each meal.

Side Effects

May cause mild acid reflux in some people.

Pros

  • Could be very helpful for those who are deficient in these compounds
  • Works on the foundation of the digestive system.

Cons

  • May not have benefits for those who aren’t deficient in any of the ingredients
  • Dose of L-carnitine is very small
  • Doesn’t address aspects of dieting such as energy or concentration.

Conclusion

Lean Out is an interesting take on fat-burning.

Rather than including stimulants and other typical ingredients, this formula appears to focus more on the body’s ability to transport fats to use them for energy, as well as the health of the digestive system.

It may only work effectively in those who are deficient in the compounds included.
