Max’s BCAA 10:1:1 Review

March 28, 2017 By Editor

Max’s BCAA 10-1-1 Review

Max’s BCAA 10:1:1 is a bodybuilding supplement designed to promote muscle synthesis in the muscle cell.

Max’s is one of the leading Bodybuilding supplement brands in Australia.

It is a part of the AminoActive supplement company, which has been operating throughout Australasia since 1989.

Ingredient Label

Max’s BCAA 10-1-1 Ingredients

Active Ingredients

Free Form BCAA’s

The branch chain amino acids are leucine, valine and isoleucine.

These cannot be manufactured by the body and are vital for muscle synthesis.

They replace muscle depleting cortisol with muscle building amino acids in the muscle cell (1).

The ratio of Leucine to Isoleucine to Valine is 10:1:1.

ORM Leucine Peptides

These high leucine containing small peptides have a higher uptake through the walls of the small intestine to get into the muscle cell faster.

Micronized and Instantised BCAA’s

These branch chain amino acids have been broken down into extremely small particles to allow for faster absorption.

Who Takes It?

Max’s BCAA 10-1-1 is taken by hard training weight lifters who are working to develop muscle mass and strength.

How to Take

Mix one 5g scoop of BCAA 10-1-1 with 250 mls of water. Have one serving immediately before and after your workout.

As an alternative to water, you can also mix this product with juice or your protein shake.

Side Effects

BCAA’s are completely safe to consume, with negative side effects being reported.

Pros

  • Creates an anabolic environment in the muscle cell
  • Removes muscle deleting cortisol
  • Fast absorbing

Cons

  • 10-1-1 ratio not scientifically proven to be most effective

Conclusion

Max’s BCAA 10-1-1 provides fast acting BCAA’s to synthesis muscle, during and after training.

Although Max’s claims that a 10-1-1 ratio of Leucine to Isoleucine to Valine is the most effective, there is no evidence that it is more beneficial than the traditional 2:1:1 ratio.

However, this product still delivers in terms of turning up your cell’s anabolic environment.
