Essential Amino Acids
Essential amino acids, or EAAs, are amino acids that the human body needs, but cannot create on its own.
Because of this, they need to be obtained from a range of food sources which containing varying amounts of each amino acid.
Supplementation allows you to consume a fixed ratio of these amino acids, without the extra calories from whole foods.
Essential amino acids have been shown by research to significantly increase muscle protein synthesis in humans (1).
Bitter melon is a fruit that exhibits anti-diabetic effects.
Research shows that this is due to blood sugar-lowering effects, caused by compounds in the fruit (2).
An effective dose is about 2,000mg daily.
Green Coffee Bean
Green coffee beans contain high levels of a compound called chlorogenic acid.
This compound has been shown by research to improve heart health and possibly improve fat-loss (3).
The effective dose is 240-600mg of a 50% extract.
Who Takes It?
Athletes wanting a low-calorie protein alternative will benefit from using HumaPro.
